Crow's Nest

Who's Working Behind the Scenes?

 

 

The crow's nest is the lookout station on the highest point of a ship's mast. The origin of the name comes from an ancient maritime custom. Seafarers, when lost at sea, released caged crows from the lookout station. The crows would fly in the direction of the nearest land, thus helping the sailors find their navigational position.
